FRESH AND EXCITING MERCHANDISE TO RAISE THE PROFILE OF THEIR CAMPAIGNS AND MAXIMISE POTENTIAL
Macmillan Cancer Support was looking for an updated approach to their range of fundraising gifts that would capture the imagination of supporters and drive revenue, whilst still endorsing the Macmillan message.
The charity has a number of annual facilitated giving programmes negotiated with major high street retailers including Boots. Brand Addition was tasked with producing merchandise across set campaign periods throughout the year that would appeal to the variety of consumers that shopped in these stores. Products had to be available in variable volumes based on demand, and include effective counter displays that made the items clearly visible in store as well as raising awareness of the charity’s partnership with the retailer.
Brand Addition took a collaborative approach with Macmillan to produce a collection of gifts with a strong focus on interesting design and visual appeal that would also stand out and be competitive in a retail environment. The range was researched from all angles, reflecting seasonal trends and incorporating contemporary graphics. New and improved packaging was also developed to engage target audiences and encourage consumers to support the charity through the purchase of high quality instantly appealing gifts.
Brand Addition combined a full portfolio of services including high quality, ethically sourced creative retail gifts with packaging designed to both complement the product and promote Macmillan. All products were delivered through an efficient supply chain with low production costs to increase fundraising potential.
